Storytellers
These sculptures are built to expose the 'secrets' that children are expected to keep. They are an avenue for telling the stories that are 'unspeakable'. The stories that most people do not want to hear. I hope to break down the implied acceptance of child abuse that is perpetuated by silence. As long as child abuse is hidden in the shadows we, as a culture are accepting that it is ok in our world. I hope to see that change as more people tell their stories...................
